How membership works
Start with a free trial. Keep going with a membership. Cancel from your phone whenever you like.
Prices are shown in the app. Swolemance sells memberships through the App Store and Google Play, so the exact price and the plans on offer depend on your store and country. Open the app, or the store listing, to see current pricing before you subscribe.
The free trial
Every new account starts with a free trial that runs from the day you register — you do not have to subscribe first to get it, and it is not a store introductory offer. It is 7 days by default; the app tells you your own trial end date, and that is the one that counts.
During the trial the app is fully open. Track workouts, log meals, run fasts, post, chat and call, exactly as a paying member would.
When the trial ends
An active membership is required to keep using Swolemance after the trial. If it lapses, your account and everything in it stay where they are — subscribe again and you pick up where you left off.
Billing, renewals and cancelling
Memberships are bought and renewed through the store your app came from. Swolemance never sees or stores your card details.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us.
- Memberships renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time in your store account — Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you paid for runs out.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, so refund requests go to Apple or Google rather than to us.
If you subscribe on one platform and later switch phones, restore purchases in the app so your membership follows your account.
Promo codes
Swolemance issues promo codes — often through a trainer. Enter the code in the app and it resolves to the offer it belongs to before you confirm anything. A code that has expired or has already been used will be rejected at that point rather than after payment.
If you are a trainer
Trainers earn a share of the memberships they bring in, and the share rises with the number of active members attached to them:

Tiers are recalculated from active member counts rather than set by hand. To ask about joining as a trainer, get in touch.
Common questions
Do I need a membership to try the app?
No. Create an account and the trial starts on its own.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
It stays on your account. Nothing is deleted because a membership lapsed — deletion only happens when you ask for it.
How do I delete my account?
From inside the app. Deleting the account removes your data; it does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel that separately in the store.
